Atonement.. Atonement makes up for something bad that has happened.
It helps fix broken relationships between individuals or groups.
The bible says that after Adam & Eve sinned,
man's relationship with God was broken.
So God showed his love for us
& healed that relationship by sending his son,
Jesus, to dies in our place.
Jesus Christ gave his life to atone for the sins of all mankind
& paid a price that we could never afford.
His ultimate sacrifice made it possible for us to relate to God
& gives us cause to celebrate.
