Is worship for God or for us?
Both! Worship is how we demonstrate our awe, adoration and affection for God.
No, he doesn't need our worship (see John 5:41), but he's still really into it!
worship is for our benefit. When we offer every part of our lives to God in worship,
we're doing exactly what we were created to do.
Spending quality time worshiping God can really help us gain a new perspective on life
because it forces us to take our eyes off our circumstances & focus just on god.
When we see things as he does,
our petty complaints and issues seem a lot less massive.
