Hell.. Hell is referred to in the Bible as burning fire, darkness, and torment. But what makes hell such an awful place is the total absence of the presence of God. Of all the torments the Bible mentions, none is worst than life without God. Yet before we were even born, God decided he wanted us to live with him forever. Knowing God personally gives meaning and peace to our lives. It's hard to imagine choosing to live without God, but some people make the choice and experience hell as a result. It's the mistake of a lifetime and one that lasts forever.
